Customer Policies

These policies explain what customers can expect when requesting, booking, attending, changing, or completing HeartWell services.

Effective September 19, 2026

Public-class cancellations and transfers

Cancel at least 48 hours before a public class to request a refund or one transfer, less any disclosed nonrecoverable materials. Cancellations 24–48 hours before class qualify for one transfer or account credit. Cancellations under 24 hours, no-shows, missing prerequisites, or late arrival are generally nonrefundable unless HeartWell approves an exception.

Private training payments and changes

Private training may require a 25% deposit, with the remaining balance due seven days before class. The accepted quote will identify the applicable deposit, balance, rescheduling, travel, material, and cancellation terms. A submitted website request is an inquiry and does not confirm a date or price.

Eligibility and certification

Participants must meet course prerequisites, attendance, conduct, skills-demonstration, testing, and certification-organization requirements. Registration or attendance alone does not guarantee certification. Customers should confirm that the selected AHA or American Red Cross credential meets their employer, school, licensing, or program requirement.

Weather and HeartWell cancellation

HeartWell may reschedule or cancel for severe weather, unsafe conditions, instructor illness, facility failure, insufficient enrollment, or provider disruption. Customers may transfer or receive a refund of HeartWell charges for undelivered service.

Private training sites

The customer provides a safe, accessible training area, requested tables and chairs, utilities, parking or facility access, and an available on-site contact unless the accepted quote states otherwise. Travel outside the core Triad service area is quoted separately.

Accessibility and accommodations

Contact HeartWell before class to request a reasonable accommodation. Requests are reviewed with the participant and in coordination with applicable certification-organization requirements. HeartWell will explain any requirement that cannot be changed without affecting course completion.

Credential delivery

Electronic credentials are issued after successful completion and required provider processing. Delivery timing may vary because of certification-organization processing, course reporting, inaccurate participant information, or required corrections.

Payments, failed charges, and disputes

Prices, fees, taxes, deposits, and payment terms are disclosed before payment or in the accepted quotation. Secure provider-hosted checkout is used; HeartWell does not collect full payment-card details through its website quote forms. Report suspected duplicate, failed, or disputed charges promptly so the transaction can be reviewed.

AED and product terms

Availability, lead time, returns, installation, readiness services, accessories, and warranties follow the accepted quotation and applicable manufacturer or distributor terms. Do not use expired, recalled, damaged, or unverified products.

Privacy and communications

Website request records are retained for 30 days and accessed only by authorized HeartWell employees. Haley personally monitors requests sent through the website, email, and business telephone. See the Privacy Policy for collection, use, retention, and request details.
